We strive to provide you with a learning experience that awakens your interest and enthusiasm for making music. Instructors will take the time to find out what your musical interests and goals are, and design a program unique to you. All of our instructors have completed advanced music studies through the Royal Conservatory of Music or through post secondary institutions, are experienced in working with children, and many are active as performers and songwriters.
Music has been an important part of their lives from an early age. Dustin and Kera both started out with piano lessons. I guess we should be truthful and say that Dustin actually started on the organ, though he doesn’t like to admit this! They grew up with great encouragement from their families to make and enjoy music. Their childhood music studies led them to high school bands and choirs and ultimately to university. From these experiences, they learned not only how to play an instrument, but how to work hard, meet goals, and overcome challenges!
Kera and Dustin are both alumni of the music degree program at Brandon University and the Royal Conservatory of Music program. Kera instructs piano, voice, history, theory, and harmony classes and is a certified Music Together instructor. Dustin is a multi-instrumentalist (trumpet, guitar, bass, drums, piano) and is a graduate of The Art Institute Recording Arts program. He instructs piano, theory, and composition classes.
