To reserve a lesson time for your child, a non-refundable $88 down payment is required at the time of registration. The tuition amount for all piano, guitar and enrichment programs is based on 35 lessons (for music students this includes 33 regular lessons and 2 optional workshops and/or performances).
We require one month’s notice prior to the first of the month to cancel lessons. We will return all post-dated cheques that have not been cashed. Any individual that has paid for the yearly tuition in full will be refunded the remainder of the tuition less any discounts and the $88 non-refundable down payment. In regards to monthly payments, any payments received 14 days after the first of the month will be subject to a 25.00 late fee.
All piano students will be required to pay a curriculum and materials fee of $80 for the year. All guitar, drum, bass, voice, and Dancing on the Keys students will be required to pay a curriculum and materials fee of $60 for the year. This includes all books, binders, disks, resource materials and additional supplies used during the year. If a student's material fees exceed the allotted amount additional charges will apply.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to insufficient enrollment. Group classes must have a minimum registration of 4 students.
For students in combination programs (private lesson and a group class), there are no make-up lessons for missed group classes. For any other group programs, you will have the option of doing one make-up lesson per semester at the instructor’s discretion. No make-up classes will be scheduled in the event that the studio is closed due to extreme weather conditions. Any studio closures due to weather conditions will be posted on the voice mail greeting.
Private lessons are only made up with 48 hours notice, prior to your scheduled lesson time. Make-up lessons must be arranged with your instructor and be made up within a two-week period. You are limited to a maximum of three make-up lessons during the year. There will be no credits or refunds for any missed lessons. No make-up lessons will be scheduled in the event that the studio is closed due to extreme weather conditions. Any studio closures due to weather conditions will be posted on the voice mail greeting.
